Install MS Office Picture Manager in Office 2013 or on the latest versions | www.office.com/setup | office.com/setup

Microsoft Office Picture Manager is an application offered by Microsoft as the name depicts and it was introduced in Office 2003 till Office 2010 versions. It helps in managing and editing the pictures like resize, saturation, contrast, hue, crop, rotate, and many other editing tools. It has replaced Microsoft Photo Editor.
Microsoft has removed the application from the later versions of Office because it got replaced with an application named as the Windows Photo Gallery and it is included in Windows Live Essentials. But Microsoft has stopped its support on this app too because all its features are covered up in the later versions of Windows- Windows 8.1 or Windows 10.
Picture Manager has been excluded in Office 2013 as well as on the later versions of Office which include Office 2016 and Office 365(to download them, you need to visit office.com/setup ).

With the help of Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2010, are a free web and the application design program and Picture Manager is added as a component. SharePoint Designer allows you to build as well as customize SharePoint sites and applications.

Follow the steps to install Microsoft Office Picture Manager in Office 2013 or on the later versions of Office –

  1. As per your Office bit version (32 bit or 64 bit) download MS-SharePoint Designer.
  2. You need to run the SharePoint Designer installer program – ‘SharePointDesigner.exe’.
  3. Accept the License Agreement.
  4. Select ‘Customize’ option when ‘Choose the installation you want’ message pop-up on the screen.
  5. Choose the drop-down arrow at MS- SharePoint Designer, Office Shared Features, and Office tools and select ‘not available’ option.
  6. Next, to the Office tools, click on the ‘+’ option to expand it.
  7. Choose ‘Microsoft Office Picture Manager’ option and select ‘Run from my computer’.
  8. Select ‘Install Now’.
  9. Close the installer, when Microsoft Office Picture Manager Installation gets over.
  10. Now you’re all set to launch it on your system.
  • Select the ‘Start’ option
  • Click on ‘All Programs’ option.
  • Choose ‘Microsoft Office (version)’
  • Select the ‘Microsoft Office 2010 Tools’.
  • Click on the ‘Microsoft Picture Manager’ option.
